Slater's Sons first came to light in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu’s underground scene in 2000. It is also through their French lyrics of rebellion tinted with humour are at times absurd, other times sarcastic, and even cynical sometimes, as the band sings their thoughts. All together, they’re supported by music with influences from Ska, punk, reggae, alternative rock, jazz or progressive rock, and presented in a celebratory and very rhythmic atmosphere.
