Above and beyond its international reputation and brand image for Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the International Balloon Festival aims at being, above all, an event for the entire family and the looks of awe on the faces of visiting youth and children at the Festival testify to this.
It is a real pleasure to welcome them and all visitors to Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the 11th largest city in Quebec and 2nd in Montérégie.
Without a doubt, the success of the International Balloon Festival is based on the diversity and quality of the activities offered. The Festival features more than 100 Hot Air Balloons, major concerts every evening and vast game and entertainment zones.
At this point, I would like to congratulate the event organizers who have continuously raised the bar and exceeded themselves year after year. I thank every employee and volunteer who has helped to make the International Balloon Festival a popular event worthy of recognition. Special thanks also go out to all our partners who believe in the enormous potential of this great festival, and we will continue to capitalize on the Festival’s popularity to highlight our city and region. The International Balloon Festival remains an inspiration to us all.
